Founded by Daniel Kennedy, who brings over 30 years of experience from frontline operations through to executive and board leadership across complex and asset-intensive sectors, we are a senior team of professionals who have led organisations through integration, growth, and transformation.
Our strength lies in combining strategic clarity with practical execution. Guided by the 50Ten2 principle of gaining broad perspective prior to acting, we examine challenges from multiple viewpoints to uncover what truly matters.

THE 50Ten2 PRINCIPLE
The name 50Ten2 comes from a simple idea: looking at the same situation from different perspectives to gain better clarity. I first used it when talking to work groups about understanding their work areas and the potential hazards around them. I would ask them to step back and look from 50 metres, move closer at 10 metres, and then examine the detail at 2 metres. From each distance, they would usually notice different risks or issues that weren’t visible from the others. Over time, I took this same approach into business. Whether in strategy, operations, or leadership, stepping back for the broad view, moving closer to understand the drivers, and then examining the detail before acting, has consistently led to better decisions.
Today, the 50Ten2 principle anchors the way we work, reminding us to seek perspective, remain open-minded, and build clarity before forming decisions or fixed views.

EXPERIENCED TEAM
Daniel Kennedy is the founder of 50Ten2 Strategic Partners and an executive with more
than 25 years of leadership experience. An engineer by background, he has held CEO,
COO, and board positions across listed, private, and global contracting businesses in
complex, asset-intensive sectors.
Daniel has led organisations through growth, transformation, and integration; from
major restructures and acquisitions to building new business units and managing
teams of more than 2,000 people. He brings structure, alignment, and calm to
challenging environments, balancing strategic clarity with operational depth.
Through 50Ten2, Daniel now works alongside executives, boards, and founders to
provide trusted advice in strategy, execution, transformation, and leadership.
OUR EXTENDED TEAM
50Ten2 is supported by a small group of trusted collaborators who bring
complementary skills and experience when an engagement calls for it. Their
backgrounds include leadership development at PhD level, service in boardrooms and
the military, business ownership and founding experience, and senior consulting in
operational improvement and transformation.
Each has built their career through practical leadership as well as specialist expertise,
meaning they bring perspective that is grounded in experience. Together, this group
provides additional capability to 50Ten2, ensuring that clients can access broader
insight and support when required.
